4th St., south from Main St.

This view of 4th Street, looking toward the south from Main St., shows the Doerflinger building on the left, and F.W. Woolworth on the southwest corner of the intersection, in the 300 block of Main St.  Woolworth's was later relocated to the 400 block of Main Street, where it remained until 1992.  Doerflinger's Department Store occupied the southeast corner of 4th and Main from 1904 until 1984.  This undated postcard appears to be from about 1905.
