This home is one of two side-by-side bungalows in the 200 block of South 11th Street that were designed by noted La Crosse architect Percy Dwight Bentley.  These simple one-story homes have exterior design elements and interior decorative detailing seen in the highest style Prairie School homes.  The two homes are mirror images of each other; they share a driveway and have matching one-car garages.  These distinctive twin bungalows were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
