Heritage Awards
Since 1978, PAL's annual Heritage Awards have recognized exceptional efforts in historic preservation. Each year we honor achievements in one or more of the following categories:
- residential restoration or rehabilitation
- non-residential restoration or rehabilitation
- historic landscape or archaeology
- individual distinguished service in historic preservation
Our annual Heritage Awards Banquet is an opportunity to celebrate historic preservation in the greater La Crosse area and to meet others who value our community's architectural heritage.
Nominations: Anyone can submit a nomination for an award, and all nominations will be reviewed and considered. That means if you are reading this, YOU can send in a nomination. You needn't be a member of PAL to put in your "two cents' worth"! If you know of a person or a place in the greater La Crosse area that you feel deserves to be honored with a Heritage Award, let us hear from you. Nominations must be received by April 8th to be considered for the current year's awards.
