Welcome to PAL's home on the web!
Preservation Alliance of La Crosse (you can call us PAL) exists for the purpose of promoting appreciation for and preservation of historically significant places in the heart of Wisconsin's "Coulee Region" along the banks of the Mississippi River in west central Wisconsin.
Since our founding in 1976, we've grown and we've learned a lot. In 2007 we decided to extend our outreach beyond the boundaries of our own little corner of the world, by making our presence known on the web. Our goal for this site is to provide ideas, information and resources not only for our local PAL members, but for anyone, near or far, who shares our desire to preserve the rich history that surrounds us all.
Browse through the PAL pages to see what we've been doing and what we're about. You'll
find preservation-related resources and information on our Links page, and lots of wonderful
old photos and postcards of La Crosse in our Photo Galleries... and if you're
interested in joining us, click the Membership button!
See our latest "Treasures of the Past" medallion/ornament (Martindale House)!
Click the "Medallions" tab for more info. Check our printable order form for availability of medallions from previous years, too!

You're welcome to visit us here any time. We hope you have a good time looking around while learning more about PAL and more about some of La Crosse's many wonderful old buildings. Enjoy!
